Another question is regarding the mast track. My boom gooseneck slide keeps falling out despite replacing the lock screw mechanism, does anybody have an easy solution. I saw a picture where someone had put a hose clip around the mast which would work but isn't very aesthetic. Any other suggestions?   |

Hello Jes,
How about cutting out a small circle of rubber or cork to be placed around the bolt and inbetween the gooseneck and the mast - then tension the nut? The friction should help to keep the mast in place.
You could also try using 2 nuts on top of each other; I see you have a wingnut currently which could slowly work its way out of tension.
Look into securing the two nuts further with amalgamating tape. Something like this.
